Sitrans LG200 two-wire, loop-powered HART level transmitter can measure materials with a dielectric range of 1.4 and higher at temperatures up to 427C (800F) and pressures up to 6250 psig.

ATLANTA, Jan. 23, 2007 - Siemens Energy & Automation introduced Sitrans LG200, a new line of guided wave radar level transmitters for liquids, slurries, interface, and bulk solids. Sitrans LG200 is a two-wire, loop-powered HART level transmitter that can measure materials with a dielectric range of 1.4 and higher, temperatures up to 427 degrees Celsius (800 degrees Fahrenheit), and pressures up to 6250 psig (431 bar). The Sitrans LG200 product line offers reliable level and interface measurement in liquids with corrosive vapors, foam, steam, high viscosity, surface agitation, high fill/empty rates, low level, and varying dielectric or density.

The line of 15 models includes coaxial, single and twin rod, and cable probes. All models are available with Intrinsically Safe, Explosion Proof, or Non-Incendive approvals. With its compact design and range of threaded and flange process connections, Sitrans LG200 is easy to install. Setup is simple through three programming buttons on the instrument or via a HART hand-held programmer. The user can also program the device from a remote location with the Process Device Manager Simatic PDM via HART protocol.
