February 12, 2018 -TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TRN 1 family of isolated DC/DC converter modules that cover a range of low power applications where space is limited. The TRN 1 series feature 2:1 input ranges, a full load -40 to +90°C operating temperature range and are available in an SIP or SMD package (suffix SM).

The TRN 1 family consists of 64 standard models offering input ranges of 4.5~13.2 / 9~18 / 18~36 / 36~72 VDC; and output voltages of 3.3 / 5 / 12 / 15 / 24 / ±5 / ±12 / ±15 VDC.

These 1 watt DC/DC converters feature regulation (0.2% Line / 1% Load max) with no minimum load required; 1,600 VDC I/O Isolation; efficiency ranging from 77~82%; full load operating temperature range of -40~+90°C; short-circuit protection; and MTBF of 7,400,000h per MIL-HDBK-217F at 25°C.

Units are potted in a non-conductive plastic case and measure 0.47 x 0.30 x 0.43” (SIP) or 0.47 x 0.44 x 0.30 (SMD).

Units are manufactured to IEC 60950-1 standards, qualified to MIL-STD-810F Thermal Shock & Vibration standards, are Reach / RoHS compliant.
