November 3, 2010 - VEGAPULS SR68 radar measures level of solids, especially in grain and milling. With no wear, no cross contamination or cable issues, it can measure through dust, air movement and even when mounted close to filling streams with no loss of echo. It has process connections in threaded, flanged and aiming swivel mountings, a temperature capability up to 250 degrees C and air purging option for cooling and cleaning when required. It has 4-20mA, multi-drop HART, fieldbus and Ethernet communications, and ATEX Gas and Dust approvals.
