Watlow appoints Jim Rowland Vice President, Operations

Rowland holds a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Xavier University.

May 1, 2012 - Watlow announces that Jim Rowland has joined the company as Vice President, Operations. Rowland comes to Watlow with over 20 years of professional experience in manufacturing, human resources and Lean transformation consulting. He will shape and develop operational strategy throughout the organization including advising on strategic business developments and key enterprise planning issues that impact Watlow’s operations, while insuring results through the Watlow Business System. Rowland began his career in production at General Motors. He moved into sales at Certainium Alloys, engineering at GE, and then joined Hill-Rom Company where he gained experience in Lean manufacturing and operations leadership.

He joined Simpler consulting where he led various North American and global businesses across many industries in healthcare, military and manufacturing including Watlow in its Lean transformation. Rowland holds a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Xavier University.
