Weidmuller introduces WSI low-profile fuse terminal
Only 1.55-in. high, WSI fuse terminal is ideal for use in electrical cabinets to protect power supplies or critical loads.

RICHMOND, VA (May 3, 2007) — Weidmuller introduces another new low-profile fuse terminal for implementing short-circuit and overload protection for process and industrial applications.

At only 1.55” (39.4mm) high, the WSI 4 fuse terminal is ideal for use in electrical cabinets to protect power supplies or additional critical loads. The WSI 4 fuse terminal features a standard 2.5mm 2-screw clamping system (22-12 AWG), and accepts a standard 5x20 mm fuse.

Various LED options provide blown fuse indication across a voltage range of 10-250V. These fuse terminals can be ganged together by means of an interlocking disconnect lever, which provides a quick and easy method to disengage a two- and three-phase application. Weidmuller’s new WSI 4 fuse terminal is UL rated for 300V, 15A, and mounts on TS-35 DIN-rails. The large marking area accommodates Weidmuller’s standard WS and DEK markers.Weidmuller is a leading supplier of control and automation connectivity solutions such as Industrial Ethernet Solutions, Power Delivery Solutions, Design-Build-Deliver Solutions, Complete Rail Solutions, switching technology for control panels, printed circuit board terminals and connectors, and terminal blocks.

Weidmuller has approximately 3,400 employees worldwide, with 70 sales organizations or offices in more than 60 countries.
