The mini-IPm PLUS has Ethernet, up to 4 serial ports and a built-in mix of 26 discrete and analog I/O. It is pre-loaded with open-source Linux and the IPm firmware which offers automation, control and data acquisition capabilities. For utility applications, IPm+ also includes pre-loaded software for AGA gas flow calculations and DNP-3 time stamped communications.

The xCoupler module snaps into a ControlLogix PAC (programmable automation controller) from Rockwell Automation and provides bi-directional data translation between plant floor devices and SQL Server 2005 databases connected to the module via Ethernet. The module can be set up to configure specific plant floor devices, such as robots, sensors, bar code scanners and controls, with a database to develop commands, reports, alerts and other instructions.

UniSort MXT software has algorithms that optimize merging, induction and sortation, enabling rates well in excess of 300 cartons per minute on sliding shoe sorters.
