Helsinki, Finland, February 17, 2008 - ABB signed a Full Service agreement with Huhtamäki Oyj to manage maintenance activities at its facility in Hameenlinna, Finland. Huhtamaki Group is a leading manufacturer of consumer and specialty packaging. Full maintenance responsibility at the Hameenlinna site will transfer to ABB on May 1, 2008. Under the agreement, ABB will cost-effectively develop the plants’ maintenance operations and help increase its production efficiency. About 60 employees will transfer from Huhtamaki to ABB.
