January 23. 2008 - Fort Worth, Texas – Allied Electronics, a subsidiary of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), has signed a distribution agreement with AMETEK Technical & Industrial Products to distribute its Pittman brand DC motors. “We are pleased to add the Pittman product line to our offering of DC motors,” said Scott McLendon, Vice President of Marketing at Allied. “Customers can expect to find Pittman products in stock and ready to ship from Allied.” Allied will stock Pittman LO-COG brush-commutated motors and gearmotors which are featured in section 8 of the 2008 Allied catalog.
