May 27, 2010 - Automation Systems Interconnect expanded its line of heavy-duty connectors to include a high current heavy-duty connector family. The HSB series is available in 6 and 12 positions with a rating of 35amps at 600 volts. The hoods and housings for the HSB series are available with side and top wire entry, through panel or fully enclosed surface mount, and in tall versions for larger wire. They can be ordered with one locking lever or two and either with or without a protection cover.ASI heavy-duty connectors solve issues like dust, vibration, water, shock and ensure reliable electrical and mechanical connections.
In addition to providing IP65/NEMA 4 protection these heavy duty connectors are designed to international specifications similar to others on the market and have UL and CSA approval.
