September 16, 2009 - The DATA-MAX series of Large Digit Process Displays from Eagle Controls include the ADS models, which accept current inputs of 0-20mA and 4-20mA, and the VDS models which accept voltage inputs of 1-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mV and 0-50mV.DATA-MAX displays are fully scalable across the range -1999 ~ 99999 for the 5 digit models or the displays can be supplied with 3, 4 and 6 digits. The displays have a programmable decimal point to four places and the last digit filter function, ‘dampens‘ the least significant digit.

Digits sizes are offered from 2.3” to 36” (58mm ~ 915mm).DATA-MAX displays allow any engineering unit to be displayed clearly in the plant with viewing distances from 60 feet (20 meters) to over 1000 feet (360 meters) Indoors or Outdoors. Engineering symbols can be fitted to the front facia to enhance the display information.DATA-MAX displays can be panel mounted, wall mounted or suspension mounted with a choice of digit colours from red, amber, green or even blue.

White digits can be supplied on special requests and ambient light conditions.DATA-MAX displays are supplied in NEMA 3, 3S and 13 enclosures for indoor use, while NEMA 4 and 4X enclosures are supplied for outdoor use. Outdoor displays are fitted with super bright daylight viewing Dot LEDs while seven segment LEDs are used for most indoor applications. In addition to the A to D inputs, the displays also offer outputs such as Relays, Analogue 4-20mA and Serial RS-232, RS-485.

DATA-MAX displays can be supplied with Ethernet connectivity.Universal power supply of 95-265Vac is standard and power input options include 24Vac, 24Vdc and 12Vdc without any cost penalty. An ‘Excitation Output‘ of 24Vdc is also supplied as standard to power field transmitters.
