MicroPower Direct releases MHI100DI5.7 dc/dc converter
MHI100DI5.7 is suitable for high speed switching applications requiring high transient immunity, high isolation, reliable field operation and a small component footprint.

February 17, 2016 - MicroPower Direct releases MHI100DI5.7 1W dc/dc converter, suitable for high speed switching applications requiring high transient immunity, high isolation, reliable field operation and a small component footprint.

These converters are specifically designed to provide the high isolation, noise immunity, compact size, long term reliability and low cost required for high speed, high power switching applications.

Forty models operate from 5, 12, 15 or 24 VDC inputs, providing outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, ±5, ±9, ±12 or ±15 VDC. Four models offer unbalanced dual outputs of +15V and -9V, for use with IGBT driver circuits (such as the 962 type controllers).Standard features include an I/O isolation of 5,700 VDC, and a common mode transient immunity of 15 kV/uS.

The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MHI100DI5.7 series is greater than 2.0 Mhours. All models are RoHS compliant.

The MHI100DI5.7 family is packaged in a miniature, SIP case with an industry standard pin out. Operation for all models is specified over the wide operating industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with no heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
