October 21, 2016 - MicroPower Direct, has released the MPO-120S series; a family of 120W AC/DC power supplies.
Five standard models operate from wide universal inputs of 90 VAC to 264 VAC, providing regulated single outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24, or 48 VDC. Standard features include EN 55022 B emissions, active power factor correction to EN 61000-3-2, I/O isolation of 4 kVAC, and up to 93% efficiency. a standby 5V output. All models are protected for over load, over voltage & short circuit faults. Three types of input/output connectors are available: terminal block, molex or clamp.
The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPO-120S series is greater than 120 khours. All models are approved to EN 60950.
The MPO-120S family is fabricated on a compact 5 x 3 x 1.24 inch open PC board. With only 18 CFM airflow, they provide 180W of output power. All models are specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C (ambient).
