March 18, 2016 - MicroPower Direct releases MPV1560 dc/dc converters that have a 12:1 input range, high I/O isolation, and high efficiency.
Three models operate from a wide input of 100 to 1200 VDC, providing outputs of 12, 15, or 24 VDC. Standard features include high efficiency; ±1% line/load regulation; an input/output isolation of 4,000 VDC; and filtering. All models are protected for over voltage and short circuit conditions (continuous with autorecovery). The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPV1560S series is greater than 300 khours.
All models of the MPV1560S family are packaged in a compact 2.75 x 1.89 x 0.925 inch, encapsulated case. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25° C to +70°C ambient.
Cooling is by free-air convection. All models are available mounted on adapter boards that allow an easy installation in systems requiring a chassis mount or DIN rail mount unit.
