November 18, 2016 - The MSR7805WUP series is a family of miniature, switching voltage regulators that provide up to 1.0A of output current.
Four standard models operate from inputs that range from 6.0 VDC to 36 VDC, providing regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, -5, 12, -12, 15, or -15 VDC. Standard features include efficiency as high as 95% and tight line/load regulation. All models are approved to EN 60950 and have continuous short circuit protection.
The 5V, 12V and 15V models can be easily configured to produce a negative output. The MTBF of the MSR7810WUP series is greater than 2.0 Mhours (per MIL HDBK 217F).
Fabricated as an, unpotted (open board) unit, the MSR7810WUP is 0.689 x 0.453 x 0.295 inches (17.5 x 11.5 x 7.50 mm).
The pin-out is compatible with LM78xx type linear regulators. Each model is specified for operation over the industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with no heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
