March 3, 2011 - Pepperl+Fuchs VisuNet IND Series Industrial Flat Panel LCD Monitors have received Zone 2 certification for use in hazardous environments. These high quality monitors are fully configurable to suit specific application needs in extreme environments and/or for continuous duty operation. “VisuNet IND are true industrialized monitors, delivering the highest MTBF in the industry at over 550,000 hours. They are specifically designed to deliver reliable operation and long life in harsh application environments, and in applications demanding continuous duty operation,” says Brian Alvarado, Product Manager.

Zone 2 VisuNet IND flat panel monitors are available in 12 in., 15 in., 19 in. sizes, come in a variety of mounting styles to suit varying application needs, and are LED-backlit for long lasting and energy efficient brightness. Additionally, they accept standard VGA or NTSC inputs from a PC or video camera source, and can multi-sync to any standard video mode from 640x480 to 1600x1200 at scan rates from 60 to 75 Hz, without image distortion or flicker.

The VisuNet IND series are 12 VDC externally-powered displays. Being powered from an external power supply keeps heat away from the monitor to maximize reliability and operating life.
