During the 31st members meeting of the Interests Group SERCOS interface (IGS) taking place at Hanover Fair 2003 a new board was elected for a period of 3 years. Dr. Karl Tragl from Rexroth was elected new chairman. He is working for Bosch Rexroth AG since 2000 and took over the technicalmanagement of the division Electric Drives and Controls on February 1, 2003.Prof.
Günter Pritschow (Director of the Institute for Control Engineering, University of Stuttgart), responsible for Technology, and Gerhard Zinke (Managing Director of andron GmbH, Wasserburg), responsible for finances, were re-elected in their positions as vice-chairmen. Brian Casey (Rockwell Automation) was newly elected as vice-chairman for marketing. Mr.
