November 15, 2013 - tecsis LP announces Model XPW water cooled pressure transmitter designed to operate in extreme temperatures which would destroy a conventional sensor. A custom 304 stainless steel cooling jacket circulates water around the sensor, dissipating heat and protecting the internal electronics and strain gages. The unit is engineered to provide reliable and continuous operation for a typical hot air media of 700°F, with a maximum temperature up to 1200°F. Model XPW delivers ±0.05% BFSL accuracy with high level output of 0-5V or 4-20mA (2- or 3-wire) provided by our CE-approved internal amplifier.
The unit is offered in gage or absolute pressure ranges from 0-25 to 0-500psi, and has a 150% safe overload rating. Standard pressure connection is 1/4-18 NPT M with other connections optionally available. The sensor is fully welded to perform in hostile applications, and all wetted parts are 17-4PH stainless steel. Metric units of calibration and a variety of electrical connections are also offered. Prices start at $2,950.
