January 7, 2009 - Mornsun America introduces the WRA_YMD and WRB_YMD Series of 6W DC/DC converters, which were designed to combine economical pricing with a compact size and high performance features. They are suitable for a wide range of space critical, local distributed power applications.Thirty-two models operate from 2:1 inputs ranging from 4.5VDC to 72VDC and provide tightly regulated single and dual output voltages of 3.3VDC, 5VDC, 12VDC, 15VDC and 24VDC.
Input to output isolation is 1500VDC.Standard features include efficiency as high as 86%, low ripple and noise, short circuit protection, and a wide operating temperature of –40C to +85C.Housed in a super compact 1” x 1” metal package, the WRA_YMD and WRB_YMD require no external heat sink for operation.Pricing starts at $8.50 in OEM quantities, with delivery from stock to 8 weeks ARO.
