June 8, 2010 — United Electronic Industries (UEI) released PowerDNA Software Suite 4.0. Version 4.0 adds asynchronous modes of operation for certain layers, support for 64-bit editions of Windows (Including Windows XP, Vista, and 7) and support for 3 new I/O layers for the PowerDNA Cube, 12-slot PowerDNR RACKtangle, and 6-slot HalfRACK chassis.
As in the past, the PowerDNA Software Suite also includes the latest version of the powerful Framework high level library.The new release also adds full support for 3 new I/O layers.I/O Layers, now fully supported, include:
- DNx-AO-358 (strain gauge simulation)
- DNx-1553-553 (2 MIL-STD-1553 ports)
- DNx-PC-91x (Programmable power supply with voltage read back)
