InVision Downtime Reduction System monitors fuses and circuit breakers. When a circuit opens, the maintenance staff is automatically notified by phone, e-mail or fax of the circuit's exact location, the correct replacement fuse to bring, and the appropriate level of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The loop-powered Smart HART Temperature and Signal transmitters have input-to-output analog accuracy up to ±0.025°F, the absolute best in the industry. The 4-20mA temperature output signal also has a superimposed HART digital signal, which allows any HART-compatible control device to program zero, span, sensor trim offset and other calibration variables, and to interrogate and read multiple real-time process variables.

The AMS driver allows access to internal data registers and provides control of all devices on an Ethernet network. The software enables the MR sensors to communicate directly with the control system by transforming liquid-level data, as well as various other internal data registers, into a format that can be interpreted by the controller.

Mitsubishi will use deviceWISE 2.0 framework to expand the functionality of its Q Series programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in the areas of database connectivity, service oriented architecture (SOA) connectivity and configuration management.

deviceWISE 2.0 links PLCs, RFID readers, printers and other intelligent devices in a network to support bidirectional data flow with enterprise and peer systems based upon WebSphere, Oracle, BEA, JBoss, SAP, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase and other popular database, messaging system, and application server platforms.

TPM enables complex batch operations to be initiated by a simple ‘drag and drop’ action that can execute programs, evaluate results and both collect or distribute files. Version 2.5 of its AMS Suite: Asset Portal software expands asset management capabilities. It allows users to customize enterprise-wide asset information, including filtering and reporting alerts, polling on demand, and viewing graphical asset health reports.

Enhancements in Version 5.60 include a new PACSystems LD Online Compare utility and Word-for-Word change, Test-Edit, and Run-Mode-Store, to improve performance for online operations. These accelerate the commissioning phase of application development by improving the time it takes to perform online operations, and to find differences between the application in the controller and the project.

NWA will incorporate Infometrix multivariate technology in NWA SPC and Manufacturing Analytics products. As a result, NWA's customers will be able to perform multivariate SPC and other techniques using NWA Quality Analyst, Quality Monitor, and the embedded QAx and SPCx products based on models developed using Infometrix Pirouette software.

FlexRay rest bus simulation provides a simulation environment for one or more control devices, so that they can be tested independently of other nodes. This includes the generation of message traffic that is necessary for the device to be tested and reaction to messages.

File Collector monitors a user-specified directory for data files and automatically imports them to any OPC-compliant historian. It typically processes Comma Separated Value (CSV) files containing value, quality and timestamp (VQTs) data points, but can be configured to process any text-based data file.
